Feedback for Working Muhm Paypal Exchange

Image

I have been looking for ways to earn on the side and have seen the need for Paypal to cash transactions that’s why I decided to start my Working Muhm Paypal Funds Exchange. This has been going on for more than a month and I am happy that I am getting a lot of customers. My transactions are normally hassle proof. They just send their Paypal funds to my Paypal account and I send the money to them via bank transactions. I charge 5%. No other requirement except them. When I started, the process was quite time consuming as I have to physically go to the bank for my transactions. Now, I can do online bank transfers to BPI and Union Bank (these are the two preferred banking choice of online workers). Most of my customers are repeat customers so I know that they are truly satisfied with my service.

Infact, Working Muhm Paypal Exchange has been blogged twice. Let me share some excerpts:

“All in all, I really liked how quick she responds on the messages plus she’s very trustworthy! I’ll exchange all my funds to her since it’s very hard to find legit business people on the internet these days so I was really lucky I found her on Facebook.”

“Fuss free exchange!

– Just ask Gracielle if she has available funds, if yes, need to send her the payment in Paypal in Pesos. She charges 5% of the total amount. She will then deposit the money to your bank account, or transfer via Unionbank EON or BPI transfer.
3. Recommend the site?
I highly recommend her services, as I have tried it already for 4 times from Php 7,000 to up to Php 20,000. She is very accommodating and responsive via Facebook. First time users might have doubts so I suggest to try it out for a small amount first to test out the services.”

Dion’s Closet First Collection Now Available

My 9 year old daughter Dion sure is very entrepreneurial at such a young age. It was her idea to start an online shop because “Mommy and Mama Ellen (my mother and her grand ma) are both online shopping addicts” and so she can save money for her tonsillectomy scheduled on the last quarter of the year. (FYI, my daughter has an ongoing issue with tonsillitis and the frequency of their occurrence has alarmed our pedia, Dr. Patriana, who suggested tonsillectomy since Dion already has a very high probability of developing a rheumatic heart condition because of this.) I am very apprehensive of this scheduled operation since I believe it’s too soon for her to go back to the hospital (she spent 3 weeks in total in the hospital just last year, 2 weeks in the ICU when she had dengue which also caused complications in her heart) but my tough cookie is only excited of the possibility that she can eat ice cream, cakes and chocolates to her heart’s content.

The Woes of Online Jobs

Image(original picture found here)

I have been working online since I was still a call center supervisor 4 years ago. It became my only bread and butter for about two years now. Working at home has both advantages and disadvantages namely:

Advantages:

  • I get to spend my time with the kids. One of my greatest regrets as a working mom before was the opportunity to see my two older kids grow up. I started working two weeks after I gave birth to Dylan, my eldest. I have to as there were bills to pay and day to day expenses to take care of. I left my second child, Dion, at the care of my mother when 6 months after giving birth, I had to go to Singapore for work. 7 years later, Drew has the opportunity to be with his mom every single hour of every single day, except when I have to go out of town for occasional trips or have to pay the bills, do the grocery, or meet my friend for coffee. To some extent, Dylan and Dion has me too, although, they don’t need me as much as Drew does. (Dylan is already a 6th grader while Dion is in 3rd grade.)
  • I don’t have to worry if I don’t have new clothes to wear. Vanity is a sin and it is something that everyone has, including me. Normally, when I wake up…I open my computer immediately and check my emails and my FB before I even have my first cup of coffee. When you work in a traditional setup, you are not just conscious about the clothes you were but also about your grooming, etc….So buying clothes is part of the joy and pain (if you don’t have the budget) of working in an office setting. Of course, you have to have new clothes regularly, otherwise, you might as well wear a uniform with the frequency you wear your clothes.
  • I am no longer an absentee mom who often wondered what my son’s moderator look like. I can attend all their parent-teacher conferences now. I am there to watch my son’s soccer games or lend my daughter my support during ballet recital. Most of all, I am now PRESENT at all occasions in the family may it be birthdays, Christmas and even Valentine’s Day. I am on a first name basis with their school moderators. I have their moderators’ phone numbers saved in my phone book so I can clarify issues and concerns immediately. Yep, I am a far cry from the bumbling idiot who mixed up the time for my son’s first Christmas party. I bought him a new outfit, an expensive gift “from Santa” (in Kong Hua, preschoolers normally have their parents buy their gifts and named them From Santa) and even took the time to cook and bring potluck for their party only to find out that the party was in the morning and we went to school at 1 in the afternoon. I remembered how heart broken Dylan was to missed Santa and I still feel guilty now, almost 8 years later.

Having an online job has its drawbacks too:

  • Job Security. Online jobs come and go. And no matter what platform you choose, there is always a rotten apple or employer who will scam you and skip with your payments. I have been a victim many times starting with Wes Johnson, Aira Tuazon, Marshall Sontag, Annaly Capacio and Domina L’ove. It doesn’t matter if they failed to pay a few measly dollars as was the case for Miss L’ove or a few hundred bucks like the rest. The fact is, they exist. I have tried seeking help from online job portals where I got these employers but I never got my payment until now. Which is frustrating. We always thought that getting employers from virtual staffing companies will give you some sort of protection but you’ll learn the hard way that you have to cover for your own ass. =)
  • No Benefits. Some employers are generous. They give periodic bonuses and even 13th month bonus. However, majority of them will not. You have to pay for your own SSS, Pag-ibig and Philhealth. If you are paranoid about your and your family’s health, then you also have costly health premiums to contend with. Working in a traditional setup means all these are taken care of, including your health insurance and that of your dependents. Some would not even give you vacation time and only a few will give holiday pay.
  • I am virtually left to my own devices. If not for the presence of my baby and my household help, I will be talking to my computer. Hahaha! This is what I miss the most about working. The chance to talk to other people. I miss being with friends and colleagues. I miss the smoke break I used to have with like minded people. I miss planning team buildings with my agents.

I might go back to working offline someday but I am still thankful that for sometime now, I have the opportunity to have an online job that allow me to be with my family all the time. And that’s okay with me, as my family is the most important priority for me.

Just a Repost- From Facebook

Hahaha….was checking FB earlier and this was posted on Bangon Kagay-an‘s Page. Makes you wonder about life, right?

2 TOUGH QUESTIONS

Question 1:
If you knew a woman who was pregnant,
Who had 8 kids already,
Three who were deaf,
Two who were blind,
One mentally retarded,
And she had syphilis,
Would you recommend that she have an abortion?

Read the next question before looking at the response for this one.

Question 2:
It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts..
Here are the facts about the three candidates.

Candidate A:
Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists.
He’s had two mistresses.
He also chain smokes
And drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B:
He was kicked out of office twice,
Sleeps until noon,
Used opium in college
And drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C:
He is a decorated war hero.
He’s a vegetarian,
Doesn’t smoke,
Drinks an occasional beer
And never committed adultery.

Which of these candidates would be our choice?

Decide first .. No peeking, and then scroll down for the response.

Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Candidate B is Winston Churchill.
Candidate C is Adolph Hitler.

And, by the way, on your answer to the abortion question:

If you said YES, you just killed Beethoven.

Pretty interesting isn’t it?
Makes a person think before judging someone.

Professionals … Built the Titanic

The World I Want

www_logo

We had some sort of Mother’s Day celebration yesterday and to end a wonderful day, we decided to have a massage, a weekly ritual that we permit ourselves amidst all the expenses parents have when they have kids. We left the house late (around 11PM) and we were surprised to see our neighbors still up and about. When we asked them why, they said that they were waiting for money from certain politicians as they normally do the vote buying around midnight. I asked them what the going rate was, they said P300.  My mom too received a text message that she gets P200 if she votes for a certain mayoralty candidate. Oh my…..at the rate they’re going, it will take them all their years in service if they win to recoup all the expenses they have this election. Sad…my inability to vote today due to failure to vote for 2 consecutive elections has made me wish that people will use discernment to vote for government officials who truly want to help my ever beloved beleaguered city. It’s time to make a change indeed.

Just in time for this election, United Nations has this project/campaign called The World We Want. They have put up a poll that allows readers to choose 6 topics they are most passionate about. These are my 6 choices:

Gentleman

At 1,526,762,160, I guess it would be very difficult to replicate the success of Gangnam Style. Though Psy’s latest endeavor “Gentleman” isn’t as “ear catching” as his first hit, it still is worth dancing to. There are several pelvic shaking moves one can try with this new hit.

After just a few days, this has already garnered 58,474,746 hits in YouTube. My take? Gangnam Style is waaayyy better but I’d love to try the “Gentleman” hip shaking, pelvic grinding dance moves.

Better Together by Jack Johnson

There is no combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard
No song that I could sing, but I can try for your heart
Our dreams, and they are made out of real things
Like a, shoebox of photographs
With sepia-toned loving
Love is the answer,
At least for most of the questions in my heart
Like why are we here? And where do we go?
And how come it’s so hard?
It’s not always easy and
Sometimes life can be deceiving
I’ll tell you one thing, it’s always better when we’re together

Mmm, it’s always better when we’re together
Yeah, we’ll look at the stars when we’re together
Well, it’s always better when we’re together
Yeah, it’s always better when we’re together

And all of these moments
Just might find their way into my dreams tonight
But I know that they’ll be gone
When the morning light sings
And brings new things
For tomorrow night you see
That they’ll be gone too
Too many things I have to do
But if all of these dreams might find their way
Into my day to day scene
I’d be under the impression
I was somewhere in between
With only two
Just me and you
Not so many things we got to do
Or places we got to be
We’ll sit beneath the mango tree now

Yeah, it’s always better when we’re together
Mmm, we’re somewhere in between together
Well, it’s always better when we’re together
Yeah, it’s always better when we’re together

Mmm, mmm, mmm

I believe in memories
They look so, so pretty when I sleep
Hey now, and when I wake up,
You look so pretty sleeping next to me
But there is not enough time,
And there is no, no song I could sing
And there is no combination of words I could say
But I will still tell you one thing
We’re better together.
